I've been making art professionally for 45 years. I was an elementary and high school art teacher for 15 years. I also served as a pastor for 33 years. I am now happily retired and making art every day!

​There's a published collection of Gahan Wilson's artwork called, I Paint What I See. I think that sums up my approach to making art. My art is inspired and informed by my interest in the spiritual, mysterious, and macabre aspects of life, legend and popular culture. I usually create art just for my own pleasure and satisfaction. Art allows me to stay in touch with my inner child and as a result, I feel the wonder, fascination, freshness and enthusiasm for life that so often eludes adults.
