Welcome to The Little Yellow Building!

We’re thrilled your child is joining our creative community.

At The Little Yellow Building, we embrace the philosophy of "Think Yellow." Yellow, as a primary color, represents endless possibilities when understood. Our mission is to teach strong artistic fundamentals while fostering imagination, creativity, and growth.

We encourage young artists to build on their strengths and embrace challenges, helping them work through weaknesses to better understand and improve their skills. Together, we’ll explore the boundless potential of creativity and artistry in a fun, supportive, and inspiring environment.

Checklist for the First Day

The only thing your child needs to bring is themselves!

We provide all the materials they’ll need to explore and create. Good art supplies can be costly, and we want your child to have the opportunity to discover what they enjoy before you invest in supplies.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What should my child wear?
We recommend comfortable, casual clothing that’s okay to get messy. While we provide aprons, creativity can sometimes get a little colorful!

What happens if my child misses a class?
Let us know in advance, and we’ll provide options for a makeup session. Not all days are created equal. For lesson days, we can send the lesson materials home to keep your child on track. However, on project days, it’s important for your child to work in the classroom where they can benefit from real-time guidance and feedback as their art is being created.

How do I communicate with the teacher if I have questions or concerns?
Texting is the preferred method of communication for quick responses. You’re also welcome to call us at 601-754-3600 or email info@thelittleyellowbuilding.com, though these methods may take a little longer.
