She then came home after realizing her expressions were mostly made and felt through painting which she decided to truly commit to and become passionate about after being diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder in 2009, changing her life forever. Dreams featuring women playing out stereotypes, involving controversies ,and dancing in superstitions , all are transformed into paintings and collages. These elements and abstractions of her mind based on a schizoaffecfive viewpoints and lucid dreams are a cross between the worlds terrain and the human spirit. Her focus is on the empowerment of women through the lens of mental illness.
