Balancing Art, Work, Life & Motherhood
Stepping Up for Local ArtistsWelcome to the Podcast!A few months ago, once classes started back, there was less and less time to record and correct videos for the interviews. So we came up with a new plan and launched the Spotlight On podcast.
All of our previous interviews that we could adapt the audio were turned into Season 1. You can catch up on each one by clicking the episode below. Let's talk about HOPE

The one whose canvas is skin
The one who's at the start
The one whose Joy is in the making
Getting to talk with Sean was a real treat for me. Woodcut printmaking, or printmaking in general, is a world I have yet to dip my toes into. I hope that Listening to his passion about the process of making his work is as inspiring for you as it was for me. Enjoy!
The Artist who catches the light in the dark
Eddie Dixon is one of those artists that I would call a "gut" creative. Everything he does comes from a deep-seeded need to express. So much so that it pours out of him in many forms. Just a couple of google searches and you can find yourself reading his poetry, listening to his music while watching his self made music videos, or you may find yourself lost in the world he captures in his photographs.
Check out the interview below where Eddie shares about all of this and more |
